Look out Leo, Sony has its own Blood Diamond

According to a recent article on Yahoo’s Game site, Sony is the cause of a technological equivalent to the diamond trade that has caused the slaughter and oppression of many in the African Congo region.

That was it?

So E3 came and went and like I expected there was little fanfare. Aside from Microsoft trying to muscle in on Nintendo’s casual market the only real surprise was the multi-platform release of FFXIII. So why did this years show continue E3’s downward spiral? For a show that is supposed to be the home of breaking news and market changing announcements there was very little shown that anyone reading their daily news blogs didn’t already know.

Word to Yer Moms, M$ Came to Drop Bombs!

And they just kept dropping, and dropping. So it looks like Microsoft is trying to continue their trade show dominance by once again blowing away the general press public with not only all the confirmations we were hoping for, but also a big Square-Enix jawdropper with FFXIII.

E3 Coming, Prepare for Wave of Meh…

Back from vacation, and just in time to begin regurgitating all the news that falls out of E3’s sloppy maw. I saw the biggest new release for our household 2 weeks ago, as the second heir to the Thunderpudd Kingdom was born. But between the requirements of my fatherly duties (and doodies) I will be doing my damnedest to stay on top of what is sure to be ho hum announcements and several number laden pissing matches between the big 3 hardware players.
