I swear kids today are so freakin’ lucky. When I was a young Pudd back in the day, growing up in the earliest of the early 80′s we had an Atari. I began gaming at the tender age of 5 thanks to my parents finding this new gaming “fad”, and I was hooked.

Incredibly effective classic gaming ad

Here we are some 30 years after the birth of console gaming and along the way we picked up PC gaming, 3D polygons, arcade quality graphics at home, surround sound gaming, high capacity storage disc and online game distribution. I won’t go on about the details of gaming’s history since there are a number of resources dedicated to the topic, but I can say I never thought the industry would get to a point where it’s on par with Hollywood for our entertainment dollars.

democrats are delicious...

I’m not normally one to talk about political views in a public forum, but any candidate who eats the competition alive definitely gets my vote!

Back in the saddle after a far too long hiatus due to family affairs, Thunderpudd and friends bring to you the first of many reviews for the coming tidal wave of games coming out from now till Christmahanakwanzaka.

This first installment is for the recently released horrerfest Silent Hill Homecoming. From the first installment on the original Playstation till now I personally have been unable to get myself to play through these games. Not due to the graphic nature or macabre storyline mind you. S’matter of fact I wish more of these would be made into movies. No simply because the gameplay is typically too frustrating or the puzzles too obscure to be enjoyable for me.
