Never been much of a football fan but wow what a great Super Bowl game that was. Probably better for me since I wasn’t really a fan of either team, just watching to see who wanted it more. Speaking of acts of God, my 360 is on its way back from Texas, and hopefully back up to working condition, just in time for the onslaught of games coming up and some XBLA games I’ve missed out on for the last three weeks.

This has been the first console that I’ve had to send in for repairs now. Twice at that, and I was an original launch PS2 owner. I’ve likened owning an Xbox 360 to having a super hot model for a wife who cheats on you. You know what she is doing to you is wrong and it hurts, but you just can’t help but accept her back and you love every minute of it since she’s the sexiest thing around and does all the things you want. I would have never accepted this type of abuse from any of my previous consoles, but I do with the 360 and it baffles even me.

I’m fully expecting my console to break again, hell it would not surprise me if I go to hook it up tomorrow and it fails out of the box ( though heaven help that customer support agent from India named Bob). Still, I have Culdcept Saga to play this week, DMC 4 and achievements to get, so it would be more like anger from not being able to do those things rather than the console actually being broke.

Anyhow, big shout to Zora from the 360 support line for giving me the good news and my Fed Ex tracking number. Hopefully I will get someone else on my eventual call back for further breakdowns. In the mean time here’s to my sweet thing giving me some Culdcept Saga lovin’. I forgive you baby.
