Did they say Splatterhouse?!

I just want to take this moment to thank the Heavens, beyond the everyday blessings I’ve received, one more has recently been revealed to me… an updated version of Splatterhouse. I love pretty much all video games, and there are several franchises that hold a special place in my heart. But one that has been not only a fond memory, but a game I still fire up on the TurboGrafx16 to this day is Splatterhouse, and now Namco has finally responded to the numerous postcards I’ve sent with a new version.

In all honesty I knew it was only a matter of time. Nintendo has been doing it for years, milking franchises, sometimes for good, sometimes for worse. Capcom recently realized that while they have had great success with recent new IP’s such as Dead Rising and Lost Planet, that there may be some life, and new gameplay options yet available in things like Street Fighter, and Bionic Commando. Sega has decided that Golden Ax could make a comeback. So it only makes sense that my other faves will eventually be resurrected. With all these great updates to some of gamings slightly less mainstream titles in the works, I can only deduce that next up will be Kid Icarus, Adventure Island, Darkstalkers and of course, Kieth Courage in the Alpha Zonealright maybe not that last one.
