Categories: While the CES has had little to offer the gaming community so far, other morsels of news have been dropping lately and I’m here to give you some of the choicest cuts.
CES is upon us
Well the CES Expo kicked off today and news of bits and bytes has begun circulating around the intertubes through the various game news outlets lucky enough to have troops in the trenches. Although we do not have a rep front line this year we will do our best to mention the standout stuff that really hits home for gaming. One notable blurb comes via a PR message sent to various media outlets pertaining to some of Microsoft’s releases for 2008. Of particular note is this morsel shared by Dean Takahashi by way of his blog mentioning M$’s “exclusives including “Halo Wars,” “Too Human,” “Fable 2,” Alan Wake,” “Splinter Cell: Conviction,” and several exciting yet-to-be-announced titles.” Not a bad way to try to take the lead in consumers minds before Sony tries to sway our attention away with promises of Little Big Planets and what-nots. Speaking of Microsoft, Gizmodo has shared with all of us a relatively hilarious “Bill’s last day” video showing what sort of free time a multi-billionaire has with his last days in the office.
Metal Slug 3 XBLA Review
Yesterday saw the release of Metal Slug 3 for XBLA, and you are probably wondering if it’s worth your hard earned MS Point$. Well I have stepped up to the plate to purchase the full version, just in case you didn’t feel the demo gave you enough of a taste.
